Beautification

Fayetteville Beautiful’s mission is to encourage citizens to maintain a cleaner and more beautiful city. Through a network of engaged individuals, agencies, and organizations we promote waste reduction and recycling, beautification projects, and litter awareness and prevention.

  • Assisting in planning and funding of a neighborhood project in the Seabrook neighborhood.
  • Funding and replacing trees destroyed by a tornado at Ben Martin Elementary School.
  • Working with volunteers from Epicenter Church and Haymount United Methodist Church to plant shrubs and trees at Honeycutt Kiwanis Recreation Center and Woodrow Street Park.
  • Working with the Fayetteville City Parks & Recreation Department to maintain downtown plantings.
  • Promoting the beautification of neighborhoods entranceways.
  • Working with the City to promote the enforcement of covered loads to decrease litter problems caused by loose truck debris.
